What can I eat on the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) Diet (Options 7-12)?

In our last post we gave several options of what you can eat while living the AIP diet which included our protein. Now we understand that this diet isn’t for everyone. We aren’t trying to convert people over to this diet but we are trying to give more options for those that would like to explore and try what the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) Diet can offer.

We are also big supporter of the Paleo Diet. Both our proteins are completely Paleo compliant and will do well for those that wish to follow this diet as well. The AIP and the Paleo diets have benefited so many people across the world. We want to help give all of you additional clean, organic, grass-fed options that will benefit your health and the health of your family.

Here is another list of 6 more options that we know you will find helpful:

Option 7: ORGAN AND OFFAL MEAT. Offal meats are internal organs and are recommended to eat 5 or more times per week. Though they are called offal (pronounced “awful”) they are incredibly good for you! They are loaded with high-quality protein, concentrated vitamin A, loads of B vitamins (particularly B12), tons of usable iron, CoQ10, and they help overcome fatigue! Organ meat is where it’s at!

Option 8: PROBIOTIC FOODS. This may include coconut milk yogurt, water kefir & coconut milk kefir (probiotic type beverages), fermented fruits or vegetables, kombucha (fermented sweet tea & cultures), and supplements. Probiotics will overall positively influence the immune system.

Option 9: HIGH-QUALITY FATS. The general public view on consuming fat is that it is unhealthy. However, high-quality fats are essential for the brain and heart. Some of these fats include avocados, olives, coconut, palm (not kernel) and grass-fed animal fats.

Option 10: HIGH-QUALITY MEATS. Our Paleo Perfection Protein would fall under this option as a GRASS-FED option! This would also include other grass-fed and wild-caught meats.

Option 11: SEA VEGETABLES. Your mother may have told you to eat your vegetables but who said anything about “sea vegetables”? It’s true algae, chlorella, and spirulina are also great for you and particularly for the immune system.

Option 12: VEGETABLES. As just mentioned…mom was right! On the AIP diet it is important to eat loads and loads of vegetables. It has been encouraged by Paleo Mom to eat between 8-14 cups per day.

We hope this helps lighten load of the AIP (Autoimmune Protocol) Diet! Change is one of the most difficult things we can endure but before long you’ll find yourself on a pathway to success!
